How many Reflexology sessions are recommended?The International Institute of Reflexology recommends scheduling Reflexology sessions two weeks to one month apart for "maintenance." I recommend a client schedule a session when they feel their body needs it.

Is Reflexology a type of massage?No, Reflexology is not a massage. Reflexology is a science that deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands which correspond to all the glands, organs and all parts of the body. Reflexology is a unique method of using the thumb and fingers on these reflex areas.

Are there any side effects after a Reflexology session?
There could be very mild side effects such as more energy, more relaxation, more frequent / stronger urine within a couple of hours from the session or different bowel movement following a session. Generally, after a session, clients feel great and comment on how light their feet feel.

What if my feet are ticklish? |
Generally no. If it hurts, it is usually called a "good hurt." I work to the client's tolerance of pressure.

Some of my clients have ticklish feet. However, I use more pressure on the feet that the clients' feet are not tickled.
